Other Plays

I started out in theatre. My undergraduate degree was Drama & Theatre Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. After graduating I spent some time studying at L’Ecole Jacques LeCoq in Paris before taking an MA Creative Writing at City University, London, which allowed me to study playwriting and screenwriting combined.

My plays have been performed in the Almeida, Edinburgh Fringe, Byre Theatre, Perth Rep Studios, Glasgow’s Old Athenaeum, Leicester Square Theatre, and the (London) Pleasance.

I have won the Scottish Young Playwrights Festival, the Michael Breton Memorial Prize in theatre, Write at the Almeida, and the Writers’ Guild Playwrights Progress Award.

My time in theatre has given me a love of experimentation and a deep respect for the long, complex relationship between drama and human civilisation.
